Several Fleming descendants have searched for our Ed Fleming from New York for 40 some years. Our ancestor Edward Fleming was born Nov. 3, 1850 in New York State. the picture is stampted with a Bemmington N.Y. photographer. This Edward fleming's mother was Ellen Flin/Flinn/Flynn and family always believed his father was named Edward also. As the hand down story goes Edward Fleming was killed while on duty as a policeman the end of Nove,ber 1850. We have been unable to document this story?? Hope to hear from you.
