My grandmother was a daughter of Marshall and Gdaughter of George Washington--EDR was his father. EDR appears in the 1850 census, and is tombstone is listed in the Wayne County, Ken, rootsweb site, but I can't seem to take him back any further. Were John Fleming and Sarah ROberts his parents? I have seen lines running back from there to Tarleton Fleming/Mary Randolph, but the dates make me think this is a stretch. Do you know anything about EDR's parents?
