I'm related to Gussie (Fleming) Brengetssy. I never got to meet her and she passed away last year. Her obituary is online with the Natchez Democrat. I know that she is somehow related to the DeFrance's out of Adams, Washington and Sunflower counties, MS. Her name appeared years ago to a DeFrance-Campbell Reunion. I'm trying to find out the connect if it's through the DeFrance or the Wood/Woods side of the family were the Fleming's come in. I'm heading to Jackson and Natchez next month from Indianapolis. To maks some connections with some surving relatives in those areas from both my paternal and maternal relatives. Good luck!
