Author: RichardFleming21 Surnames: Classification: cemetery Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.fleming/2128.1.1.2.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I dug out the old, but color, snapshots taken by my second cousin Newsom Cooper, Jr. in 1983 of the Cooper Cemetery monuments and EDR and Dorcus Fleming house just south of Monticello, KY. He vigorously researched EDR's ancestor. With a magnifying glass I can confirm that the spelling of Fleming (1 m)and Dorcus (with an o) are on the monuments. Newsom also wrote on the back of the snapshots the info on the monuments. As a point of info I do not see "Husband of Darcus Vickery..." on EDR's monument. There is "Wife of EDR Fleming" on Dorcus's monument. I can make a digital copy of these pictures and the text on the back if you like. It appears that someone has only added four interments into the genweb site Cooper Baptist Church Cemetery in Wayne County, KY. From the photo there are obviously many graves in this cemetery.
