My Father TOM (Thomas) Turner b Sep-18-1917 d - March - 1-1984 married Ruth Elizabeth Rowling on Oct. 11, 1939......Jacksonville, Fl.. His father went by Tom Turner - he was married to a Bunnie Dean(middle or last not sure) .. My father was raised in Arlington, Jacksonville, Florida- Duval County. His mother later moved to Dania?, Florida to live with Grandpa Gorden(married? or not )thats all I know of his name - Grandpa Gorden worked for the Railroad in some way because he was responsible for a stretch of tracks near where he lived in Dania. It is suppose to be a very very very small town - a whistle stop as my mother described it. No one in my family remembers when They died.. No one remembers much of anything. I am trying to get a copy of my fathers birthcertificate or ss# but it is taking forever. They have cashed my checks but I have recieved nothing.
