    1. [FLDUVAL] Parson's Cemetery
    2. For those of you asking about Parson's Cemetery, Lucy Ames Edwards gives a short historical account in her book "Grave Markers of Duval County 1808 - 1916". "...... Amander Parson's was the first member of the Parson Family to have owned this property. The first burial was that of Thomas Burke, who died 20 Nov 1840. He was the brother of Elizabeth Burke Parsons, the wife of Amander Parsons...." Amander's headstone as well as Elizabeths still stand. Also buried in this cemetery is Mary Dorcas Parsons (1836-1869), wife of Napolean Bonapart Broward, who is buried in Evergreen.
