hi yvonne - thanks. do you think that the Dyal Cemetery and the Live Oak Baptist Church cemetery are the same, or do you think they are different ones? i haven't the faintest idea...i just looked in my county map book, found Dyal and saw the church/cemetery icon and gave directions according to that. I need to CORRECT myself in reference to the Dyal Cemetery and the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery. --- I looked at my map line incorrectly: That cemetery was called the Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery when I visited it several years ago, and NOT the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery. ----- Original Message ----- From: dyj To: Tony and Julie Howell Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2001 2:48 PM Subject: Re: Julie Re: [FLDUVAL] Dyal Cemetery Julie, your directions were well given. I visited that cemetery in the past and it was called the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery. If it is the Dyal Cemetery, please let me know so I can update my info. Thanks, Yvonne
Julie & Yvonne, I noticed after reading the response mentioning the Live Oak Cemetery that my research actually had two burial places for an individual. In one instance it was called Dyal and the other was called Live Oak Cemetery in Nassau County. It appears that they are the same. BTW we planned to go to Jones Cemetery Friday afternoon but were rained out. Not sure now when we will try again. I will let you know how things work out though. Thaks again for the help, Harriett ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony and Julie Howell" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2001 4:51 PM Subject: Re: Julie Re: [FLDUVAL] Dyal Cemetery > hi yvonne - thanks. do you think that the Dyal Cemetery and the Live Oak Baptist Church cemetery are the same, or do you think they are different ones? i haven't the faintest idea...i just looked in my county map book, found Dyal and saw the church/cemetery icon and gave directions according to that. i checked back on the directions to Live Oak Church that david gave and, from following them with my map, they do look like they go to the same place i was talking about when i gave the "map directions." it'll be interesting to find out if they are the same. there must be something about the Jones cemetery and rain. another list member, who was here from out of state, wanted to get to the Jones cemetery before she went back home but it rained and they couldn't go! hmmm.... j ----- Original Message ----- From: jangil1 To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, July 21, 2001 7:39 PM Subject: Re: Julie Re: [FLDUVAL] Dyal Cemetery Julie & Yvonne, I noticed after reading the response mentioning the Live Oak Cemetery that my research actually had two burial places for an individual.
