Beth; I remember when I graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1966 that Seashole Funeral was still in business then. I think that it was a family or locally owned funeral company. It is likely that it was purchased by one of the present day funeral companies. You might check with the Florida Times Union Archives or with the City of Jacksonville business records, such as the tax collector or business license division, or one of the present day funeral companies. If you find out about Seashole, please let me know, since there is a burial in Federal Hill Cemetery that has a Seashole marker that I would like to identify. I have several relatives buried in Federal Hill Cemetery. One of them is a CSA Civil War soldier. v/r Cary Williamson Virginia Beach, VA
it is most probable that you will find no records from the seashole funeral home for any time period. ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, June 18, 2001 7:41 AM Subject: Re: [FLDUVAL] Seashole Funeral Home Beth; I remember when I graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1966 that Seashole Funeral was still in business then.
