I just traced an ancestor to Jacksonville. I checked the Duval Co Gen Web page and the RAOGK web page, but did not see anyone who did obit lookups. I would like the obit of Mae Ogden (birth name: Emma Mae Blackburn) who died 31 May 1977 in Jacksonville, Duval Co, FL. I don't know if anyone has replied to you but wanted to let you know that the Jacksonville Downtown Public Library is closed until the middle of Nov 2005; they are moving into a new facility. The obit would probably have been in the Florida Times-Union.
