Hi, I'm Tom Brown and live in St. George, Utah. I was wondering how I can request archive copies of obituaries from the Times-Union. I e-mailed them on Friday and they said that they don't keep anything before 1997 and to check with the Jacksonville Public Library. Will the Library be willing to mail obituraries found in their archive ? Or is there someone who can do a lookup for me? I will be willing to pay copier and postal fees and negotiate the cost of research.
