I think it wise to advise all persons seeking obits, etc. from the Florida Times-Union that the films of the papers are available only at the downtown library and the library is closed until it reopens in its new building on November 12. Perhaps we can hold off requests until after that date. Jon R. Ferguson
I am looking for information on my cousin Veronica (nee Walker) and her husband Tony Hillson. They married in Fremantle WA (1940's), then moved back to the USA. I have found Veronica died at Duval Florida 1972, am hoping to find out what children/ grandchildren she may have had. And any information on her husbands family. I think Tony may have been a service man, but dont know for sure. thanks Maree in W Aust.
I have a subscription to Vital Search. I looked for a marriage of a Michelle Perkinson, Michele Perkinson, Michelle Garrison, and a Michele Garrison and could not find one in FL. I ran her through ZabaSearch under Perkinson and could not find her either. I checked under the SSDI and could only find perhaps an older sister, Barbara, born 21 Nov 1956 and died 17 Feb 2004. Did Ed get the obit of Barbara? Did it mention Michelle and where she might be currently living? Where is James E. Perkinson now? (I didn't see a James Perkinson in the SSDI that had a FL tie). Would he know where Michelle is? Sorry I wasn't of more help. I don't know if anyone has replied to you but wanted to let you know that the Jacksonville Downtown Public Library is closed until the middle of Nov 2005; they are moving into a new facility. The obit would probably have been in the Florida Times-Union. I'm new to this list, so it might work differently than the other lists I'm on. Someone emailed me the newspapers, so I will append my message to reflect that. Perhaps someone can assist me please. Dear listers, Someone has been in contact with me about buying Landon High yearbooks (Landonian) The years she wants are 1951 through 1955. She said she is willing to pay top price. I asked earlier if anyone knew a Carolyn Sue Henderson that went to Ribault Jr. and Sr. High schools. I have found out that she definitely did attend both schools. She was in 7th grade 1962-63 and continued going to those schools until 1968. I have found out today that she was called "Susan" or "Sue" instead of by her first name of Carolyn. If anyone knows a Susan or Sue Henderson who went to these schools I would like to hear from you.
If a person lived at 9987 Lem Turner Rd. from about 1960 to 1963, where would that person go to elementery school. I know the person went to Ribault Jr. and Sr. High, but don't know where she went to elementery school. Thanks for any help.

If anyone has a yearbook or class picture with her in it I would appreciate it if you could scan me her picture. See years for each school below. Stockton Elementery from about 1957 to 1963. Lakeshore Jr. High from about 1963 to 1966. Robert E. Lee Sr. High from about 1966 to 1969. Thanks.
