    3. I don't have the answer to that. I was thinking that Highway Branch might have been the name of a creek in that area in the time frame you're looking at. The only place I thought might fit the "Highway" name would be in the Highway Avenue area. I think your best bet would be to contact the Genealogy Department of the Jacksonville Public Library at (904)630-2409 and see if they can be of any assistance to you. When you find the answer, please post it to the list so that, in the future, anyone looking for the same thing will be able to find it in the FLDUVAL archives.     3. There is a Highway Avenue on Jacksonville/Duval County's west side that runs off of Cassat Avenue in between Interstate 10 and US90.     3. I am looking for any information on Henry ABBOTT or his son Luther Clyde ABBOTT (born 1889 - Wayne Co., Ga). Henry was married to Lou TUCKER in 1887 and living in Wayne County, Georgia.     3. Looking for parents of JOHN ROBERT GEIGER b: about 1822 in Duval County. Married 1st time to March 1852, to Mrs. SARAH F. HARTLEY, widow of WILLIAM HARTLEY. Married 2nd time on May 8, 1875 to Mrs.JOSEPHINE SPARKMAN.. He died, November 14, 1883. A son, HENRY A. GEIGER 1854-1894, was married to JANE AGNES PLUMMER in 1882. Other related families were ORTAGUS, ARNAN, HAGAN. All these families lived in Mandarin, Duval County, Florida. Will appreciate any information on any of these families.     3. Alice Layburn MILLER'S father George LAYBURN was younger brother to my ggrandfather. I believe she married W. James MILLER. Date and Location unknown. But she was unmarried and in Ontario in 1911. She was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I believe she died in1974 in the County of Duval. I have pictures from my grandmother's album and would like to share if anyone has these names in their families.     3. In my original post requesting street address look-ups I failed to mention one of these addresses should be on IONA Street. I would like the street number. My guess is the 1930 period is when this family lived on Iona but cannot be sure. Fred Hagan Does anyone have access to old City Directorys that could do a look-up for me? Wesley & Margaret Hagan were in Jacksonville in November 1905 when their son John Terres was born. They were still in Jacksonville in July 1908 when their son Fred was born. If there is a City Directory for this time period I would like to know Wesley's street address. Wesley, Margaret and family were in Atlanta, Ga in 1930. Wesley died in Jacksonville in 1932.     2. The obituary of Miles Flynn Hall from the Houston Post, 23 Aug 1976, mentions that he is survived by three brothers and two sisters. Seeking additional information on these families. The surviving members were: 1. Mary Helen Hall, born 16 Nov 1890 in Hallsboro. She died Mar 1981 in the state of Virginia. Mary Helen Hall was married to Roy Wallace Corbett. They had a daughter Mary Helen Corbett who was born about 1914 in Jacksonville, Florida. They at one time resided in Jacksonville, Florida. No further info. 2. Henry Bruce Hall born 9 Apr 1892 in Hallsboro. He died 22 Jun 1982 in Orange Co, Florida. No further info. 3. Phillip Robert Hall born 1 Sep 1895 in Hallsboro. He died 13 Apr 1977 in Charlotte, NC. He married Ada Mildred Kuester. Two children: Phillip Robert Hall and Rebecca Louise Hall born born in Charlotte. 4. James Edward Beers Hall born 24 Oct 1896 in Hallsboro. He died 18 Jun 1981 in Pinellas County, Florida. No further info. 5. Emily Chase Hall born 8 Jun 1902 in Hallsboro. She died 1 Nov 1977 at Mayview Convalescent Home in Raleigh, NC. She was married to Branson D. Phillips. Resided in Raleigh, NC. A daughter, Chase Phillips who married Milton Haynes. No further info. One sister predeceased Miles Flynn Hall. Sarah Louise Hall was born 1 Apr 1899 in Hallsboro and died 24 Dec 1974 in Waynesville, Haywood Co, NC. She was married to Peter LeRoy Dock born 29 May 1896 in New Jersey. He died 8 Feb 1978 in Hillsborough Co, Florida. No further info. Another sister, Nancy Sheffield Hall, was residing in Huntington, WVA upon the death of their father, Samuel Bruce Hall. Samuel Bruce Hall died 17 Oct 1938.

My request,if there is anyone that would be interested in assisting , is to ask that person to look in the Jacksonville News Paper on Nov 18-20 1985 for an Obituary for Charles Henry Burd.
