Hello, I am new on this list and I would like to ask someone a very special favor. My cousin Stacy Williams Henson was killed in a car accident on Sunday, my family had been out of touch with her father for many years. I tried to find him last year and got the address of a friend of his and he called my aunt tonight with the news that Stacy was killed. I have been trying to find these people for awhile and the one I really wanted to find was Stacy. I would like to get in touch with her mother because Stacy had 2 young children and I would like to send her a copy of my genealogy work for Stacy's children. If anyone could look-up her obit and email me a copy of it, so I can find her mother's name I would really appreciate it. Her funeral is going to be Tuesday at Quinn Shalz funeral in Jacksonville. I would very much appreciate it anyone could give me this information or any other information about Stacy. Thank you, Joy Honeycutt
A google search on Henrietta Cuttino Dozier turned up the following: http://jaxhistory.com/Dozier.html http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/ndlpedu/lessons/oralhist/dozier.html http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.com/nge/Article.jsp?id=h-2684 http://www.marybuilt.com/ I also called Evergreen Cemetery on N. Main Street and Henrietta Cuttino Dozier is buried there in, Section A, Lot 209, access gate #5. You might want to contact Evergreen Cemetery at (904) 353-3649. If you go by the cemetery office at the main entrance to the cemetery, they will give you a map of the cemetery and locate the gravesite on the map. They are extremely helpful. Gertrude Patrick was a childhood friend of mine from MA. Her husband Larry Patrick died in 2002 or so and she was quite despondent. I just checked the SSDI and found a Gertrude Patrick d, 23 Oct 2004 in Jacksonville, FL. Her telephone has been disconnected for awhile and so I think my friend has passed on. Does anyone have access to the Jacksonville newspaper that could check for an obit/announcement for me? Thanks Priscilla -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Hi Harriett - It's interesting that you're researching Mims. I have a Martha Thames, b. abt 1794 poss in SC, who married a Shadrack Mims. There is precious little about these two. I thought, at one time, that they may have gone to Alabama, but think now that they might have moved to northern SC. Still trying to figure their situation out.
