    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/EZ.2ADI/1092.1 Message Board Post: I have checked on Ancestry.com and come up with the following information (or lack thereof). * Edna C. Duncan 20 Aug 1915-20 June 1972 died Broward SSN 266-12-0319 (If her middle name is Catherine rather than Katherine this could be her) * Jimmy Duncan - no matches * James H. Duncan 22 Sept 1913-8 Sept 1974 Broward Co. - this from FL Death Index * James Duncan 22 Jul 1913 (note different month)-Sept 1974 Ft. Lauderdale, Broward SSN 264-07-2484 * Ruby Garvin - no information - their death records don't go back that far although they are available through several libraries, etc. for 1930s * Zollie D. Garvin - WWII Inducted FL, PFC, died 26 Nov 1942, buried (can't tell from site but think in Philippines) * Zollie Garvin 2419 Curtis Rd., Adrian, MI (in 2000 phone book) You can order a copy of the death certificates I have listed for $5.00 from: Vital Statistics, PO Box 210, Jacksonville FL 32231-0042. List as much information as you can from the above and what you already know. This should give their parents names and who signed the death certificate as informant, as well as where they are buried, and some additional information. Part of the certificate will be blanked out - this is the part that gives cause of death. This is not available for 50 years. If the daughter signed as the informant you should be able to tell if she was married at the time and her name then. I haven't seen anyone respond to requests for obituaries for Broward Co. even though many requests are posted.
