Child's name was Marshall Willis, he was two years old in January, 1929 according to my father's military benefits papers. This puts Marshall's birth sometime late 1926 to January 1927. Howard Elwers Willis was in the Coast Guard in 1929 and he and Thelma Florence B. were married sometime before January 1929, but not sure how long before. Howard is listed as single in 1927 when he enrolled for a two-year stint with the Coast Guard. So they could have married anytime after January 1927 to January 1929. I know by January 1930, Howard and Thelma were divorced and that Marshall had been adopted. I have been told Thelma was sickly and died at a young age. Howard was born in 1905 and I assume Thelma (according to a picture I have of them together) is roughly the same age. Any and all help in locating Marshall Willis or his family would be greatly appreciated. Sharon
