I haven't been following this too closely but did go to the rootsweb site and noticed that Broward charges $10.00 for death certificates after 1990. All death certificates from the Florida Department of Vital Statistics in Jacksonville are $5.00. They have a quick turn around time and you will save $5.00 if it is after 1990.
