They may be able to tell you if Orpha is also buried there and if she was his wife. Also you can get a death certificate for Orpha. Lauderdale, Broward, Florida in 1951. She was the dau of John Thomas Jones and Maggie Elizabeth Glass. She married Cleveland V. Purvis when she was 16 years old (abt 1913) according to census 1930. Mamie and Cleveland Purvis are also in census 1920 Miami City, Dade County Florida. This information seems to match up with Mamie Purvis found in SSDI who dies in July 1970.

I just sent for 2 myself only the other day. If the person is not dead for 50 years you will get a Certified Copy minus the Cause of Death. I am holding in my hand a death certificate received in todays mail for Earle Raymond SEELY, who died at home at Margate, Broward County. He is buried at Forest Lawn in Pompano Beach. His death certificate shows him as widowed. There is a female SEELY that is looking good for the wife, the only other SEELY that died in Broward County according to SSDI - ORPHA E SEELY born - 20 May 1903 died - Jan 1989 33309 (Fort Lauderdale, Broward, FL) (none specified) 330-10-3498 ssn issued: Illinois From other family obits, I do know that Earle spent some time in Illinois so this is possible. Earle is a grandson from my g-grandfather's first marriage so I know almost nothing about him, any assistance will be more than appreciated. The stories in the family say Elizabeth divorced and moved to Florida with Richard and they opened a Motel in Pompano. Richard is a talented musician.
