I'm new on this list. Recently I learned where my grandfather died, Lakeland FL. From his obit I learned my aunt's name, Edith Short Shiver. I also learned I have 2 first cousins, both females. Is there any chance I could find a volunteer who would look up my aunt's obituary at the library? I am 71 and very anxious to find these cousins! Edith Shiver b. 2 Sept. 1904 d. Jul 1985 (I don't have a date in July) Last residence: Cocoa FL She was born in Sask. Can. Her parents were James Sanford SHORT & Fannie GIBSON. She resided in NE and Chicago IL. Her previous married names were Lingle & Hanaman. No names were given for the cousins, only the notation "daughters."
