Hi list... I am a brand new grandpa. We left for the Birth Center between 8 and 9 last night, Taylor Elizabeth was born at 2:05 and we were all back home at 6:05. She missed our 25th Wedding Anniversary by just over 2 hours. This proud grandpa hasn't heard her cry more that twice since they finished measuring her and all of those other little nasties that they treat newborns to (and she was really good through all of that). When she has cried it has been only long enough to let you know she wasn't quite happy. She weighed 7 lbs 1 1/2 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long, and yes I was in the room when she was born, as was both grandmothers, and our other pregnant daughter. Do you remember what Forrest Gump's Mom said "Life is like a box of Chocolates", I got a good one today. Grandpa (Papaw) Jim
