My great grandfather was Matthew Scarborough whose wife, and my great grandmother, was Susan Elizabeth Cone. Matthew was wounded at Olustee and taken to Richmond where he died. Susan later married Green Goodman and they had children. Matthew was born in Georgia, his parents James Scarborough Sr. and Susannah Thornton. Matthew had six siblings. If there is anyone with information regarding the Goodmans or Scarboroughs, I would appreciate knowing of it.
