I am researching my grandmother and grandfather who were married in Bradford County, FL. While doing so, I came across a witness listed on the marriage license whose name is Lou Forsyth. This marriage license is dated 5/5/1915 by W.C. Brooks, Notary Public. The other witness was Lizzie Johnson (who I think may be a relative of my grandfather). The Lou Forsyth I have located was born 10/6/1887 and died 1/15/1975. Last residence was Starke, Bradford Co., FL 32091. I have a SS #, but don't want to list it here. If anyone can provide a lead as to this Lou Forsyth and how or why this person would have been a witness to the marriage license, I would appreciate any information. If you know who Lizzie Johnson is, that would certainly be appreciated. Thank you.
