She was born 3/5/1910 in Stark, FL. Her parents were George Fowler and Ethel Simmons. I don't have any info. on George except that he was a Baptist minister. Grannie's siblings were Charlie, Willie, Goldwire, Dawkin, Jack, Emily,and Evie. Emily married John Wesley Johnson and my grandmother married his brother James Alton Howell. James was born James Allen Johnson but his mother died shortly after he was born and relatives took him in and changed his name. George's death was around 1956.
