Gid Starling Born abt. 1855 died abt 1914 married Elizabeth? Born abt 1861 died abt 1934. They had a son named Joseph E. Starling born 3-11-1881 died 5-31-1969 married Maude Mae? I think she may be buried in Campville Hawthorn, FL I think he had another brother named Sheldon Starling born abt 2-5-1899 died 6-22-1978. I was also told that they were part Choctaw Indian. Gid and Elizabeth probably had more children. I know they are buried at a little Baptist Church near Camp Blanding Military Reservation in Clay County, FL. I have found several Starling's buried at the Oak Grove Cemetery. I just know have any more information. I really need help on this one. Thanks again, Wanda

It will be time consuming, checking by SKIPPER then First name then individual's household, however, it will give you her parents/sibling names, City, and state she was living in. Florida does it's census, every ten years on years ending in 5 - (1905, 1915, 1925, 1935, etc.). They did a special 1935 & 1945 Census. These census are available on microfiche in the Jacksonville, Florida Main Library or the Archive in Tallahassee. The only problem is that they were done by Count Listing and then by last name but in no Alpahabetical order. You in essence would have to check the counties you believe Nellie would have most likely lived in then under the last names of Skipper, Davenport, Jerrigan, and Rose. They had 11 Children, born in Raiford, Florida, of which my Grandmother Martha Elnora Rosier (Born 4/08/1904) was one of their children. My grandmother married Troy C Skipper - the owner of Skipper's Meat Market in Branford, Florida until his death on 2/17/1937. She and Grampa Troy had 5 children which were removed from her 1/1938, in Live Oak, Florida by the Children's Home Society of Florida and place up for adoption. She then supposedly took up with a gentlemen supposedly by the name of "Perry Driver" and married him in 1960. Information I have come accross leads me to believe she was living in a Common Law Marriage with a Lloyd Johnson - 411 West Sapp Street, Florida at this time and remained with him right up to his death in 1970. Do you have any information on a Elnora Martha (Rosier) (Skipper) Johnson, Lloyd Johnson, George Washington (Griffis) Rosier. George was also the Half Brother to James Williard Rosier the Father of Brantley Rosier who Married Nellie Pearce.
