    1. Re: Browning
    2. Thank you so much for the reply!! I would very much appreciate any information that you could give me about this family. We literally have nothing and there is no one left on that side of the family who can fill in any missing informtion. I do have a picture of Minnie Browning Norman taken in the '40's, but that is about all I have. I look forward to hearing from you.

    1. Re: Browning
    2. I have three photographs I took in May or June of David Benjamin Browning's grave. David Benjamin Browning was my ggf. Arthur Wright Browning is listed along with all of David's children on the back of the tombstone. Arthur is also mentioned on a memorial slab covering his father's grave. Arthur's son David had the slab placed on his grandfather's grave. The pictures are of a very good quality and I will gladly email them to you if you want them. I also have a question you or your cousin may be able to answer for me. I have been told that David Benjamin Browning was married twice. I can find no record of a second marriage. I know he was married to Julia Ann Addison. Do you have any information on this? Thanks. Tom Browning

    2. Hi Paula, I have been looking for quite some time, for my birthmother: Virginia Crews, DOB 2-25-1923, born in Brooker, Florida. This is the first family that I have found that mentioned Brooker. I have never known my mothers family and haven't heard from her since I was quite young. I was adopted in 1964 in Madison, Kanas. If there is any connection, please email me. Thank you for your time JWard52241@aol.com(Judy Arlene Kern)

    3. Posted on: Bradford County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Fl/Bradford/10355 Surname: Crawford, Norman, Raulerson, Browning ------------------------- I am looking for any information on the Browning Family of Bradford County. My great grandmother was Mamie Browning. She had a sister named Minnie and at least one brother who I believe was named John. She would have been born around 1880. My grandmother passed away a few years ago and for whatever reason was unable to provide me with any history of her mother. Mamie Browning married first an Elmer Norman. They had five children. She married second, a Mr. Padgett, and they had three children. Any assistance with finding information on Minnie Browning's parents would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Posted on: Bradford County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Fl/Bradford/10352 Surname: Underhill, Browning ------------------------- The Brownings were scattered around Bradford Co. and Union Co. Joel Browning is listed on the back of his father's tombstone in the Sapp Cementary in Railford, FL. His father was David Browning. You may want to take a look at any Union Co. census or other records you can get off the net (they are hard to find). Also Joel was born around the same time as you gave for Ida.I have just started on the David Browning line and I will let you know if I find anything on the Underhills.

The three are sisters, born about 1872 thru 1880. Ida is reported to have married a Browning, first name Joel. The family migrated to Polk county after 1900 census, as the entire family is listed, with the exception of the three ladies, which I suspect may have married and left the family home.

    1. FIRE!! Prayers needed
    2. I've been off-line since Thursday due to the fires in Lafayette Co. We've been evacuated twice(once, actually, but a second time up to a neighbor's fence), and it's on the move again, this time toward my sons homes. PRAY!!!!!!!! We need rain desperately to stop this monster from burning from the Suwannee River to the Gulf of Mexico. So far, we've been blessed and lost no homes or people or had any serious injuries. THANK YOU and I don't know when I'll be able to be back on-line. God bless, Carolyn
