He and My mother and dad were all friends. I knew him. I have to check, but I believe he is buried at Dedan Cemetery, just about 3 miles from where I live. Please check the Bradford County census for 1920. You should find his family listed in the Brooker precinct area, or one of the precincts close by such as Pine Hill. I do know that Dewey attened Brooker School. Hope this at least gives you a point in a direction that will help you. (my parents are both deceased or I'd call Mom and get names for you. Good hunting. I am researching my grandmother and grandfather who were married in Bradford County, FL. While doing so, I came across a witness listed on the marriage license whose name is Lou Forsyth. This marriage license is dated 5/5/1915 by W.C. Brooks, Notary Public. The other witness was Lizzie Johnson (who I think may be a relative of my grandfather). The Lou Forsyth I have located was born 10/6/1887 and died 1/15/1975. Last residence was Starke, Bradford Co., FL 32091. I have a SS #, but don't want to list it here. If anyone can provide a lead as to this Lou Forsyth and how or why this person would have been a witness to the marriage license, I would appreciate any information. If you know who Lizzie Johnson is, that would certainly be appreciated. Thank you.
