It includes research from the Carolinas, Virginia, portions of Georgia, Alabama, the Ohio River valley, and parts of the Mississippi valley from about 1755 through 1870. Mary Hill, Certified Genealogist, instructor at BYU, and Family History Library reference consultant, gives information on searching this collection and finding its hidden treasures.
