Bonds have been used in a variety of circumstances throughout history and can provide information about family members and their community associates. Types of bonds covered include marriage, appearance, administrator, executor, guardian, appeal, special, peace, forthcoming, attachment and freedom. Judy Russell is a “genealogist with a law degree,” according to the Legacy Family Tree Webinar website. She bills herself as “The Legal Genealogist” and maintains a website with that title.
