My grandfather was James Lawrence McClellan, My family has -to this day- the old family plantation in Jefferson County. They still have cane grinding around Thanksgiving, I believe that we are related to the McClellan's of Alachua County. I would be interested in more info. The family book has been written and unfortunately I do not have a copy but my father does & I can access it at Thanksgiving when the family gets together again for cane grinding.
