He died in Alachua Co Florida Aug 6, 1846. At the time of his death, his daughter Cynthia was married to Josiah Seckinger also from Effingham Co Ga (I believe Josiah and Cynthia married in Florida not Georgia as reported by others). Josiah then assumed guardianship for Joshua's other daughter Jain A. Miller. Jain later married Henry Hudgens (1857). His son Richard W Miller married Margaret R. Carter. You can find them in the 1850 and 1860 Census for Marion County Florida. I am a descendant of Josiah and Cynthia Seckinger.
