I have many Hookey's in my family tree. A second great grand uncle, George S. Hookey whose wife was Catherine Mary Seigfried settled in Augusta GA after 1853. She passed on in 1883. The majority of the family is from Philadelphia PA (my birthplace), and was a quite prominent family in the 1800's. St Katherine Drexel is also a decendent of this tree. There are many other K/Catherine's in this tree as well. I lived in Jacksonville for 13 years so I am familiar with the area, spent many weekends at Camp Blanding also.(Army Reservist) If you have any other data on Katherine I will plow thru my records and see what I can uncover. I am working with a document that was prepared by a researcher circa 1930 and it has alot of names.
