She had contacted me because I had a sister one year younger, and she had been researching all the high schools in the area. I have sent her a copy of your message. It doesn't sound like a match, but who knows.Let me know if this sounds hopeful. Here is what she wrote me: Dear Mary, Hi my name is Deborah Schafer. Julie sent that email for because she has a classmates.com membership and I don't. I am in the process of trying to track down my 2 half sisters. They would have lived in Tampa in a trailer park with their mother who was a widow. The reason I am using classmates.com is because they were only a year apart in school. So I am going through all the yearbooks for the high schools in Tampa and getting the names of sisters in grades only a year apart. I know it sounds complicated. Your sister Lorraine and you were one I found on classmates.com and that is why you received the email. I was adopted in 1959. My 2 half sisters probably don't remember me or they may have been told I was dead. The info I have is that my birthmother's husband died of a blood clot the year before I was born. The girls were 8 and 9 years old at the time. If you are not the one I am looking for do you or your sister remember back to any girls whose mother may have been a widow and lived in a trailer park.
