It was call Laurel Grove. The is the plantation owened by Katherine Hookey. We have been looking for more information on Katherine Hookey but without much luck. We received a little from the Ga. State Archives but only with the help of the Ga. Lt Gov,s office. All questions we have sent to the Augusta Library and historical society were unanswered. Can you help us.
