I am seeking an obit or something that would help me in finding if the date I have for the death of Jake Hersey is correct. His date of death is Nov 1963 in Alachua County, FL. At least that is what the FL death index has. His full name is Jacob Elkanah Hersey...but the death index has it different...has Jake A. Hersey Sr. I know i have received emails and reponses saying I should go for the death record. I plan to..but I would like some help in papers of Alachua county...or something to help me.
