Hi Judy, When you get the chance, please post the name of the Dell book and its author. Hopefully there is a copy in a nearby library or it might be available on ILL. My interest is in Ann Nancy Dell (b. 2Mar1776) who married Thomas Colding, who are the parents of Louisa Colding. A book covering the Colding family gives Mary Brynum as her mother (possible a second wife of Philip Dell). This book is "Calhoun and Related Families" by Samuel S. Gibbons. This book, however helpful, provides no references. Thomas D.
