"BROWN - Mrs. Grace Hughes Brown, 84, of 202 North Hilltop, Brandon, passed away Saturday morning. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Brandon Chapel of F. T. Blount Company Funeral Home, 620 East Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, with the Rev. Ross Geiger officiating, assisted by Rev. Emerson Rugh. Active pallbearers will be Mark Singleton, Albert Singleton, Stephen Singleton, Hubbard Singleton, James Branch and Eugene Magee. Honorary pallbearers will be James Cheek, Don Lusk, Joe Wenger, Earnest Seymour, Edward Benson and Walt Dyal. Interment will be in Limona Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. The family requests that flowers please be omitted and suggest contributions to the Limona Village Chapel United Methodist Church, or to the Guilford College, Greensboro, N.C. A native of Archer, Florida, Mrs. Brown had been a resident of Brandon for 51 years. She was a graduate of Guil! ford College, Greensboro, North Carolina, class of 1913. Mrs. Brown was a charter member of the Limona Village Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Dr. Colbert Hughes Browne, Eugene, Oregon; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Lee Branch and Mrs. Carol Grace Cheek, both of Brandon and ten grandchildren."
