Hamilton Melton Tillis was the sheriff of alachua county in late 1800's . he had gotten into a gun battle with Brack and killed him. he was supposed to be buried in hatchett creek cemetery but I havent found any stones for him or other members of the family . I have copy of old news paper article about the incident. would love to hear from you .
