    3. Hi Jerry, A story about Pleasant Harrison Williams is on page 498 of Escambia II. It includes photos of Pleasant and his wife Christian Price Williams, born about 1822, a full-blooded Cherokee. They met in Marietta, Georgia. The story does not include anything about his ancestry, except that he arrived in either South Carolina or Georgia from Wales. It does not include his siblings.     3. Thanks Judy, The Cherokee connection connection makes sense and ties into some family lore that may pertain to Elisha Williams. Elisha's wife may also be Indian with a name like Quinhula.
