    3. Would you post a the names of the committees and where they will be situated in the building. I would just like to get a clearer overall view of what we are doing :-) Thanks,

    3. After the last meeting we seemed to be in agreement that the census readers would be along the back by the windows for good lighting. The Membership and Additional Resources committees would set up near the door to catch departing participants, the computer group would be in the library, the greeters would have their own room where the CIG used to meet to get participants started on their pedigree charts. The marriage records, African American and Indian specialists, Library resources and others would be along the right and left walls (as viewed from the stage) or in front based on a first come gets first choice of table concept. There appears to be plenty of table space for everyone but, if there is not, we will be arriving at 8:00 so will have an hour to sort out any space problems by setting up additional tables. However, if any group has a particular place they need or want to set up, it's not too late to let it be known. We have a great deal of flexibility in most of the positions. We do still need a volunteer with a laptop to do marriage records. We will have all of the records up to about 1887 by then and that volunteer will receive the spreadsheets sorted alphabetically by bride and groom to do lookups with. They will need a laptop with Excel capability, though. Jerry L.L. 3. Who is in charge of the greeters? I need to discuss their forms. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry Merritt" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, March 05, 2008 6:51 PM Subject: Re: [FL-WFGS] April meeting - Jerry > After the last meeting we seemed to be in agreement that the census > readers would be along the back by the windows for good lighting.
