Not aware of a Genessee, there is a Genery: a populated place located in Jefferson County <http://alabama.hometownlocator.com/al/jefferson/index.cfm> at latitude 33.309 and longitude -86.904 (Panoramio Photos <http://www.panoramio.com/map/#lt=33.3087234497&ln=-86.9038772583&z=4&k=2&a=1&tab=1>). The elevation is 712 feet.
