I have brand new Windows 7 computers with 3.5 in. floppy drives so we can read and convert. Plus I have special software that allows me to peek at a file and see what it is instead of having to open it or find an appropriate WordPerfect, Office, etc. program to read it. We have back copies of WordPerfect 5.1, 8, 12, etc. and other software depending on what they are. I can certainly move files from 3.5 to CD or DVD, but the problem is that some of the programs will not open these unless you have the version that it was created in.
