Scott ; Archives & Archivists (A&A) List Subject: Creek Indian Interviews Online I'm happy to announce that we have converted the audiotape oral history interviews that were done as part of the Creek Indian History Project in the 1980s to digital form and placed them online for listening. This was part of a grant project in the University of West Florida History Department. This link takes you right to the inventory list of these. Click on a digital file to listen to them. You need to be patient as they load, and unfortunately the original tapes often don't say on the tape the date, topic, etc. but we have tried to note these on the inventory if possible. http://143.88.66.76/Archon/?p=collections/findingaid&id=44&q=&rootcontentid=12587#id12587 We have also turned up some transcriptions of a few of the tapes and will add these as they are converted to digital form. Please let me know if you have any questions.
