In doing an obituary lookup, I chanced on the following from the December 22, 1939 Pensacola Journal: GENEALOGIST'S RECORDS COMBED FOR RELATIVES BOSTON, Dec. 21 -- (AP)--Police search the records of George A. Taylor, 60-year-old genealogist and historian, after he collapsed and died today, in the hope that the man who had traced the relationship of thousands of other persons might have recorded the names of some of his own relatives. Taylor, who had long lived alone, died after he had mailed several Christmas packages. I'm going to see if there was a follow-up story.
