Dear Genealogist: The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is seeking public comment on its draft Plan for Digitizing Archival Materials for Public Access, 2007-2016. This draft plan outlines our planned strategies to digitize and make more accessible the historic holdings from the National Archives of the United States. Version 16 works good and if you upgrade go to 16. However, 2008 has some problems. I always keep the older versions of programs on until I know they work. So far 2008 his harder to use and has some problems. Hi Priscilla, I won't be able to attend the November meeting as I have to work the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival for my calligraph guild. It is my understanding that Gayle Sweet will probably not be there either. I suggest since I have the money box that you not bother with the book table. We didn't sell anything last month and have only sold a couple of items in the past four months. So I don't really think it would hurt to let it go this one time. Of course, the decision is totally yours. You could try selling as long as someone of the right amount or paid with a check. Let me know what you decide. Sorry I will have to miss, Dorothy
I know there are no black sheep in your family, but thought you might find this interesting. > ALABAMA: Escambia County- > 1880-1904 Index of Convict Docket (Book A) > > http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/al/escambia/history/convicta.txt >
