Good Morning, I am searching for information on the following: Chief Kiatta - known to be in Ohio between 1700-1800. Town of Okeana, Ohio (Butler County) is named for his daughter. There is a creek that bears his name, and he is reportedly buried at the mouth of the creek. I have been searching for a year for more information on the Chief and his daughter, and have come up with absolutely nothing, not even the tribal affiliation. My search has included records from the Cherokee, Delaware, Shawnee, Miami and Wyandot Tribes. If anyone out there can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Also, if anyone needs help in Louisiana, just let me know, I would be glad to assist. Stephanie K.
