I hope this doesn't go through twice. I'm new to this LIST and new to Indian Genealogy. My children want to find their great-grandmother and their children are very interested in their Indian Heritage. Doralee Hendricks Wood is listed on the 1920 Census Soundex as 19 years old, born in Arkansas, wife of Walter Wood (Walter Price Wood), age 23, born Okla. This was in the county of McCurtain. He is supposedly also part Indian. They had a daughter, Ella May Wood born 1920. There is a possibility that Doralee is the daughter of Charley Hendricks, listed as Roll No. 17078. Albert Hendricks might be her brother. I have a land record showing Charley received land in Ottawa Co., Bartlesville, OK at age 24 and was "full blood". Any help or suggestions as to where to go next will be appreciated. Redell in Colorado
