Hi Tim, After discussion with various older members of the family, they had always heard that Ann or Amanda Elizabeth "Lizzie" Rogers was Cherokee. They had also believed she was full blood, which I don't believe. If you could find anything on her it would be great. Her father was James Meridith(Marion) Rogers b 1846 Johnson County, AR d 1896 Iron Bridge, IT and her mother was Mary Jane Malone b 1850 in Johnson County, AR d 1881 in Logan County, AR. I know nothing else about Mary Jane Malone but James Meridith's parents were Thomas Jackson Rogers b 1817 in Tennessee d 1862 Pea Ridge, AR and Anne Elizabeth (?) b 1820 in Virginia. Thomas Jackson Rogers' parents were Joseph C Rogers b 1770 in Tennessee and Sarah (?) b 1774 in Tennessee. Thanks, Cathy.
