I'm new to this LIST and not experienced in Indian Research, so I need help and your patience. I'm looking for my kids' great-grandmother and her parents, heritage, etc. On the 1920 Census Soundex she is listed as 19 years, born in Arkansas, wife of Walter Wood, 23 years, born in Okla. census from McCurtain County, Okla. I know that they were divorced and she died in Albuquerque or Bernillo, NM in 1931-32. Those death records supposedly burned and we cannot find her grave. There's a possibility that her father was Charley Hendricks and perhaps a brother was Albert Hendricks, but no proof. Charley Hendrick has a roll number of 17078 and a land record from Ottawa Co. and is listed as "full blood Indian' . The land does not have a date on it but he is listed as 24 years old. What's best way of going about finding more? My grandchildren are very interested in their Indian heritage. Thanks, Redell in Colorado
