I am trying to research family history. I was going from the angle of County and City (Pontotoc County, Hart, Oklahoma), in my findings the dates I am in dealing with are 1899-1900-1901, which i have been told those places were not in existen (name wise) until 1906-1907, that the area was I.T., therefore I should check Chickasaw records for the families I am researching. Any suggestions?
