    3. May 16, 2004 Fort Worth Star Telegram Fort Worth, Texas David Charles Fitzwater, 53, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 14, 2004, after a long battle with cancer. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Born Aug. 27, 1950, David was a longtime resident of Delaware City, Del. He moved to Keller in November 2002 to spend his remaining time with family. David graduated from Gunning Bedford High School, class of 1969. After graduation he started working in construction and joined the Laborer's International Union in 1978. He worked for Corrado American Company from June 1981 to December 2001. Dave enjoyed fishing, music from the 50s and 60s and his favorite hobby was pool. He was a member of the American Pool Association and played in tournments as part of the Busch Pool League, representing Bosco's Tavern. After moving to Texas he joined the Grapevine Opry Association, enjoying many of the shows at the Palace Theatre, produced by Rocky Gribble, Yellow Rose Productions. His favorite was the 50s show. His wit and humor will be missed by his family and friends. Survivors: Sister, Sharon M. Hagen and husband, Rodney of Keller; niece, Regina M. Ervin and husband, Bill and their daughters, Kristen and Kailey of Watauga; longtime friend, John Lewis and wife, Anna; family friend, Jennifer Ervin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
