26 May 2006 The Winchester Star Winchester, Virginia Betty F. Link, 59, of Shanks, W.Va., died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at her home. Mrs. Link was born Oct. 21, 1947, in Bean Settlement, W.Va., the daughter of Adam A. and Minnie Kuykendall Fitzwater. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Baker, W.Va. She married W. Henry Link on April 11, 1965, in Front Royal. Surviving with her husband are, a son, W. Henry “Billy” Link Jr. of McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.; three daughters, L. Charlene New of Blair, Okla., Lorraine West of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Leigh L. Saville of Arthur, W.Va.; five brothers, Charles, Paul, and Bill Fitzwater, all of Rio, W.Va., George Fitzwater of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and Ralph Fitzwater of Moorefield, W.Va.; five sisters, Claudia “Pinkie” Clatterbuck of Harpers Ferry, Sophia See of South Fork, W.Va., Norma Parker of Moorefield, Hilda Bradfield of Baker, and Irene Michael of Kirby, W.Va.; and seven grandchildren. A funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church, Baker, with the Rev. Dough Knupp officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Loy-Giffin Funeral Home, Wardensville, W.Va.
